Word Document Clean-up
After documents have been converted from WordPerfect to Word or from one version of Word to another during a migration or upgrade project, the converted documents need to be cleaned up. In this process leftover formatting is removed, styles are applied, the document is repaginated, numbering is rerun, tables of contents and authorities are regenerated, and headers and footers are checked. This activity is an important process to ensure stable, corruption-free documents when going forward. Third-party tools from companies such as Microsystems and Levit & James are often used in both the document conversion and the document clean-up process. Regency Training and Consulting has experience and expertise using these tools. We also have the resources to perform this job quickly, on an around-the-clock basis if necessary, in order to get the documents cleaned up and back in production.
